Industrial maintenance at height

High-level work in production halls and on installations, carried out on ropes, section by section, so you do not have to stop the whole line for a few hours of repairs.

Scope of work

  • Visual inspection of structures, fixings and ductwork, with a photo report
  • Tightening or replacing brackets, supports and clamps
  • Work on ventilation ducts, cable trays and internal gutters
  • Fitting and removing light fittings, sensors and equipment at height
  • Local sealing at rooflights, roof penetrations and panel joints
  • Cleaning beams and surfaces where dust or product builds up

When rope access makes sense

When the work point sits above machinery, racking or lines that cannot be moved, and there is nowhere to put a MEWP.

For extensive work at a single level with a clear floor below, a mobile platform may be quicker; we will tell you at the site visit.

How the job runs

  1. List of work points

We agree with your maintenance team what needs doing and at what height.

  2. Anchorages and sections

We pick anchor points on the hall structure and split the job into zones.

  3. Work coordinated with production

Each zone is closed at ground level only while work is going on above it.

  4. Handover report

You get a list of the work done, with photos and our observations.

Rope access, scaffold or crane?

We choose the method after the site visit. If a scaffold or a MEWP suits your job better, the quote will say so.

Frequently asked questions

How is the price set if you do not publish rates?

It depends on the number of work points, their height, the time needed to rig each zone, materials and the working window. A clear task list cuts the assessment time.

Does production have to stop?

Usually only locally. The area below the work point is closed while we work and the rest of the hall carries on. Work above lines that cannot be protected is scheduled for a shutdown.

Do you go through the plant’s own induction?

Yes. The team attends the site induction and works under the permits to work issued by the client.

Can you take on maintenance on a regular basis?

Yes, under a framework contract with scheduled visits and a report after each one.
