Industrial roofs, gutters and waterproofing

We trace and fix leaks, clear gutters and downpipes and patch waterproofing on warehouse and factory roofs where ordinary access is risky.

Scope of work

  • Tracing leaks at joints, penetrations and rooflights
  • Local waterproofing with membrane or liquid systems, to suit the substrate
  • Repairing fixings and laps on roof panels
  • Clearing gutters, outlets and downpipes
  • Sealing rooflights and smoke vents
  • Pre-winter roof inspection with a photo report

When rope access makes sense

On pitched roofs, unprotected edges, fragile rooflights, or gutters a MEWP cannot reach because of racking, loading ramps or the ground.

A full re-roof belongs with a roofing contractor with dedicated crews and plant; we handle the repairs and maintenance in between.

How the job runs

  1. Inspection

We walk the roof on a safety system and record problem areas with photos.

  2. Repair proposal

You receive a prioritised list of repairs and a price for each.

  3. Execution

We work zone by zone, protecting materials and the space below.

  4. Check

We check drainage and hand over with before-and-after photos.

Rope access, scaffold or crane?

We choose the method after the site visit. If a scaffold or a MEWP suits your job better, the quote will say so.

Frequently asked questions

How is the price set if you do not publish rates?

It depends on the roof area and covering, the number and size of affected areas, the waterproofing materials and access to the roof. The first inspection establishes the real scope.

Can you work on roofs with polycarbonate rooflights?

Yes, with work routes kept away from rooflights or covers placed over them. Rooflights are never stood on or used for support.

When should gutters be cleared?

Usually in autumn, after leaf fall, and again in spring. For buildings surrounded by trees, two visits a year is common.

Is the waterproofing guaranteed?

Guarantee terms are set out in the quote, according to the material used and the condition of the substrate.
